Create Song Styles

Hi Jes.
I"m using the wonderfull song styles made by Peter (aka Xeenix) since he posts. The A to Z songs styles. First in a Psr 910 and now in a Sx 700.  I used Yamaha Registration Manager to convert with the option in "bulk" and saved with the option "adding MP" in the song style name. I saved too in another folder  name like "modified" to not forget what I made. Even with some software error alerts I can use them without changing OTS. You can change too the Ots in this Murray's software during convertion if you want. I think in this Ultimate song styles you can obtain the same results. The Xeenix songs styles is a "life saver" for me as a amateur player. If you want I can post one song style modified for your test. I have all A to Z Xeenix styles modified and I use them everyday. I always thanks Xeenix for his hard work.

Yeah, none of the downloadable files seem to be working on the original PSR tut site, all go to a 404 message. The new owners have been saying they will fix them, but it's taking a while. A workaround is to get to them through the Internet Archives, but I have the files you want.


You need this file for the Yamaha Registration Manager program, install it first
YRM5.1.1

Then upgrade with with this file, instructions are in the folder
YRM 5.3

However some of the most recent keyboards are not included in the voices lists still. I think 5.3 goes up to Tyros 4. You need to contact Murray to get the latest upgrade from him directly, his email will be in the About link in the Program.

I still haven't figured how to get it to convert from one to another (I haven't really looked at it properly yet) so I might need lessons!
