Been checking some Korg styles here and a lot are simply .sty files not .set files. These are in the Korg Style "child board" section.  As such they cannot be opened by the Korg PA...are there any apps that will change these to a .set file?

Thanks

What model PA do you have?  As far as I know, you can load a .sty file directly on PA4X.  Not sure about older models.  I will double check when I get a chance.

Thanks Don - It is a PA4x as well - but it would not allow me to load it. In fact it did not even show the file!

The one I am trying (before trying any others) is the Looking Out My Back Door style....

It will be a couple of days before I can try it.  I leave my keyboard set up where I work.
Have you tried any other styles?  Sometimes you get bad ones.

Yeah, I'll give that a go.

Reason I am trying them is I am hoping to move away from MIDI's and MP3's as backings (mebbe program some styles where a song specific drum beat/stops is needed) and rely more on styles.

Only drama with styles is (as I play live basslines) it's difficult for chording with the right hand. I'm sure I'll figure it though!

Thanks for your input :)
