The Aura, pseudonym of Laura Abela (Brescia, 13 August 1984), is an Italian singer-songwriter.

He made his debut in the world of discography in 2005 with the album Okumuki, disc reissued in March 2006 with the inclusion of the song Unattainable, with which the singer has participated in the Sanremo Festival in the category "Youth". Subsequently he released the second album, Demian (2007), and participated in the 2008 Sanremo Festival in the "Big" category with the song Basta !, included in his third album: L'Aura.

Born in Brescia on August 13, 1984, at the age of eight she began studying piano and violin at Rezzato. In 2000, at sixteen, she moved to Berkeley, California, [2] where she completed upper secondary school and studied English. She returned to Italy two years later to start recording her debut album, Okumuki, under the supervision of Enrique Gonzalez Müller, producer of Plant Studios in San Francisco.

In 2004 he duet with Mistonocivo in the song In a photo, contained in the album Edgar, while in March 2005 he released his debut single, Radio Star, which has achieved a good success both in terms of sales and radio passages.
