Joshua Kadison (born February 8, 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and writer. He is perhaps best known for the Top 40 hits "Jessie" and "Beautiful in My Eyes" from his debut album Painted Desert Serenade. He is the son of the late actress Gloria Castillo, who was the inspiration behind his song "Mama's Arms."

Jessie" is a song by American artist Joshua Kadison. It was released in May 1993 as the lead single from the album, Painted Desert Serenade, but did not become a hit in mainland Europe until 1994 and not until 1995 (on its third release, but after continuous commercial radio airplay) in the United Kingdom.
