Biography
Born in the Netherlands Antilles, Pappa Bear began his career as a cook . He graduated as an apprentice and became Chef de Cuisine . After helping his sister Daisy Rollock, better known as Daisy Dee , to produce her songs in the early 1990s, he joined the Black Male group, with whom he released three songs.

In 1996, Pappa Bear joined the Booya Music label. The label was created by Toni Cottura , Bülent Aris and Holger Storm and marketed artists such as Nana , AK-SWIFT or Mark Wahlberg aka Marky Mark and produced such greats as the Backstreet Boys and * NSYNC .
After he first performed as a gastrapper in Nana 's songs and supported him in the promotion of his first album, he and Jan van der Toorn published an interpretation of the Kool & the - Gang classic Cherish in the fall of 1997 and landed an international hit , In the spring of 1998 he (with van der Toorn at his side) followed up and made his first success seamlessly with the song When the Rain Begins to Fall .
The first album, What's My Name , was released in May 1998. The third single-release was Hunny Luv , but she was successfully supported by Van der Toorn, who looked after the chorus again.

In 2000, the second album was supposed to be released, but this failed because the label Booya Music dissolved. On the Internet you could find the song Wunderful Life . Since then it has become very quiet around Pappa Bear. In 2009 Pappa Bear released new tracks on his MySpace page. Among other things, he covered Jeanny from Falco . In 2010, he planned a comeback.
